UPDATE: MADISONVILLE, Ky. (May 10, 2024) – KY 109 near Russell Loop road in Webster County has reopened to one lane traffic with flaggers following a tractor fire in the roadway this morning.
Normal traffic is expected to be restored within the next two hours.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate cleanup.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (May 10, 2024) – KY 109 near Russell Loop road in Webster County will be temporarily blocked this morning following a tractor fire in the roadway.
Fire fighters are still on the scene and anticipate a full closure of the roadway until at least 9:15 a.m. CST, followed by one lane traffic flow while first responders clean the scene of the fire. Duration could last up to two hours before normal traffic flow is restored.
