On 3/30/18, Officer Black responded to a non-injury accident at Circle K. The suspect, Corey Weisser, fled the scene prior to her arrival. The Circle K manager showed Officer Black surveillance video of Weisser’s vehicle striking the rear of an RV that was pulling into the lot. A description of the suspect was given out and Corey Weisser was located behind Audubon Chrysler. Weisser stated that he fled the scene because he has active warrants for his arrest. A search incident to arrest resulting in a glass pipe with white residue being being found in Weisser’s backpack along with a baggie containing a white powdery substance. Weisser stated that the substance was meth and he uses the pipe to smoke it.

Corey Weisser was arrested for Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Poss. of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (meth), a warrant for being a Fugitive from Another State – Vanderburgh County, Indiana – 3 counts (18-14169), a Parole Violation Warrant (18-14168), and a Bench Warrant for Contempt of Court Libel/Slander/Resistance to Order (18-14158). Weisser was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
