Dr. Howard Williams Campbell, 77, of Henderson, died Monday at the Heart Hospital at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, the Green River Dental Society; and the Kentucky Dental Association. He was a graduate of Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri; attended graduate school at St. Louis University and graduated from the University of Louisville Dental School in 1969. A Kentucky Colonel, he was a captain in the U.S. Army. He opened his dental practice in Henderson in 1971. Survivors include, his wife of 35 years Mary Ann, two daughters Carol Ann Blandford Buckman and Mary Kelly Blandford Schneider, both of Henderson. Two sons, David Keith Blanford and James Michael Blanford; both of Corydon. One brother, David Anderson Champbell of Mount Vernon, Illinois. Three sisters, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandsons, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be noon Friday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Father Larry McBride will officiate. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 Thursday and until 11 a.m. Friday at Rudy Rowland Funeral Home, prayers will be said at 6 p.m. Thursday.
