A SECOND PERSON WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE STRONGARM ROBBERY

OF A HENDERSON WOMAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED IN EVANSVILLE. 18-YEAR OLD

CHRISTOPHER DUNCAN WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY SUNDAY ACCORDING TO

THE EVANSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT. DETAILS OF HIS ARREST WERE NOT

IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE. DUNCAN WAS ONE OF SEVERAL MEN ALLEGEDLY

INVOLVED IN ATTACKING AND ROBBING A LOCAL WOMAN AS SHE WALKED DOWN AN

ALLEY BEHIND POPE STREET MAY 26TH. THE UNIDENTIFIED VICTIM WAS

KNOCKED DOWN AND PUNCHED REPEATEDLY AND HER PURSE WAS TAKEN IN THE

INCIDENT WHICH WAS CAPTURED ON VIDEO BY A PASSERBY. THE VIDEO WAS POSTED

AND SHARED WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES WHICH ASSISTED IN IDENTIFYING THE

SUSPECTS.

YOU MAY RECALL A 15-YEAR OLD JUVENILE WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY MAY 30TH

AND IS ALSO CHARGED WITH FIRST DEGREE ROBBERY. HE’S BEING HELD AT THE

REGIONAL JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER IN MC-CRACKEN COUNTY.

DUNCAN IS CURRENTLY LODGED IN THE VANDERBURGH COUNTY JIAL WHERE HE

AWAITS EXTRADITION TO HENDERSON.
