Henderson’s Youth Baseball Tourneys Continue Today

Henderson’s 9-year-olds went 2-0 in pool play in their state tournament in Glasgow. They hammered Elizabethtown 15-1 on Wednesday.And, crushed Scottsville 16-4 on Friday. In the victory over Scottsville, Colt Isenberg had an inside-the-park homerun and 5 RBI. Brooks Lynam and Colt Hargrove each had 3 hits. Lynam also scored 3 runs. They start bracket play Saturday at Noon vs Barren County.

Henderson’s 10-year-olds went 1-1 in pool play at their state tournament in Hodgenville. Henderson lost its first game Friday to Hancock County 12-2, but bounced back with a 10-0 shutout of LaRue County. Carsyn Catlett got the win, throwing 5 innings and striking out 8. They start bracket play vs Elizabethtown Saturday at 2pm.

Henderson’s 11-year-olds went 0-2 in pool play at their state tournament in Elizabethtown. Henderson suffered lopsided losses on Friday to E-Town 26-0, and Butler County 14-0. They start bracket play at 10am Saturday.

Henderson’s 12-year-olds went 0-2 in pool play of their state tournament in Bowling Green. They lost to Barren Co 10-1 on Wednesday, and lost 18-4 to E-town on Thursday. They begin bracket play Saturday at 10am.

Henderson’s 13-year-olds went 0-2 in pool play at their state tournament in Jeffersontown. They lost to West Louisville Friday afternoon. And, lost a big offensive game 17-15 to Germantown. Friday night. They begin bracket play Saturday.

Henderson’s 14-year-olds start play in their state tournament on Saturday at Park Field in Henderson with a double-header vs Okolona beginning at 11am.

Henderson’s 15-year-olds went 2-0 in pool play of their state tournament at Park Field in Henderson. On Thursday, they nipped North Hardin 7-6. Seth Givens went 2-4, with a RBI, and 2 runs scored. Braydon Chamberlain also scored twice. Friday they beat Louisville Southwest 19-4 behind the solid pitching of Gabe Phegley. They start bracket play 2pm Saturday vs Cumberland County.
