Congratulations to Officer Chasity Williams who has been named Employee of the Month for July 2018.

According to HPD Public Information Officer Jennifer Richmond, Officer Williams was recently dispatched to a male who was unresponsive in a vehicle at 1773 South Green Street. She determined the subject wasn’t breathing and she pulled the male subject out of the vehicle and laid the subject on his back. Officer Williams immediately began CPR and utilized life saving measures. Officer Williams stated she soon observed a pulse on the side of the subject’s neck and EMS arrived on scene which transported the male subject to Methodist hospital for further evaluation. The subject was treated and later released from the hospital. Officer Williams’ actions and quick decision making were critical for saving the male subject’s life.

Officer Williams is a graduate of Evansville North H.S. and obtained her B.S. in Kinesiology from Lincoln Memorial University. She has been with the Henderson Police Department since April 2014.
