THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PADUCAH HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY…WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY.

* AREAS OF LIGHT TO OCCASIONALLY MODERATE SNOW HAVE PRODUCED QUITE
SLICK CONDITIONS ON MANY AREA ROADWAYS LAST NIGHT AND EARLY THIS
MORNING. THOUGH THE SNOW IS NOT DEEP…GENERALLY A COATING TO
LESS THAN AN INCH…THE SNOW IS FALLING AT NIGHT WITH
TEMPERATURES WELL BELOW FREEZING. UNTREATED ROADWAYS HAVE BECOME
QUITE SLICK WITH THE LIGHT COVERING OF SNOWFALL.

* MOTORISTS EARLY TODAY SHOULD SLOW DOWN AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO
REACH YOUR DESTINATION. PUT EXTRA DRIVING SPACE BETWEEN YOUR
VEHICLE AND THE VEHICLE AHEAD OF YOU.

* IN ADDITION…EXPECT WIND CHILL VALUES THIS MORNING IN THE
SINGLE DIGITS AND TEENS. MAKE SURE KIDS ARE PROPERLY DRESSED IF
HEADING OUT TO SCHOOL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES…AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
