The National Weather Service in Paducah says light snow overnight has resulted in a very light accumulation across portions of far southern Illinois and northern sections of western Kentucky along the Ohio River early this morning. More than likely, this will just result in wet road conditions. However, patchy slick spots may develop on elevated surfaces, such as bridges and overpasses, as temperatures drop below freezing. Everyone is encouraged to use caution on the morning commute. Slow down and allow yourself a few extra minutes to reach your destination.
