KATHY GIVENS, 75, OF ROBARDS DIED FRIDAY AT ST. VINCENT HOSPITAL IN EVANSVILLE. SHE WAS A LIFELONG MEMBER OF ROBARDS CHRISTIAN CHURCH WHERE SHE WAS SONG DIRECTOR. SHE TAUGHT IN THE HENDERSON COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM FOR MANY YEARS AS WELL AS BEING THE YOUTH SERVICE CENTER DIRECTOR AND CHEER COACH FOR SOUTH MIDDLE SCHOOL. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, GEORGE B. GIVENS, JR.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

2 CHILDREN SAM GIVENS AND

KATE MARTIN

1 BROTHER NORRIS WHITE

5 GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES, NEPHEWS AND COUSINS

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 11 AM TODAY AT TOMBLINSON FUNERAL HOME HENDERSON CHAPEL.

MINISTER AMY CATES AND BROTHER RICK O’DANIEL WILL OFFICIATE.

BURIAL WILL BE IN PLEASANT VALLEY CEMETERY IN ROBARDS.

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 10 AM TO SERVICE TIME TODAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.

WHO DIED SATURDAY WILL BE 1 PM THURSDAY AT TOMBLINSON FUNERAL HOME HENDERSON CHAPEL.

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 5 TO 8 PM TODAY AND FROM 11 AM TO SERVICE TIME TOMORROW AT THE FUNERAL HOME FOR HATTIE JERALENE DIXON.

SUE WALKER, 85, of La GRANGE, KENTUCKY, FORMERLY OF ZION DIED MONDAY AT HER DAUGHTER’S HOME IN La GRANGE. SHE HAD OWNED BEAUTY HAVEN AND WORKED AS A BEAUTICIAN FOR 35 YEARS. SHE HAD VOLUNTEERED AT METHODIST HOSPITAL AND WITH HIGHPOINT CHARITIES IN La GRANGE. A KENTUCKY COLONEL, SHE WAS A MEMBER OF ZION BAPTIST CHURCH BEFORE MOVING AND THEN WAS A MEMBER OF SOUTHEAST CHRISTIAN CHURCH. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND OF 57 YEARS, ARNOLD CLAY WALKER, SR., WHO DIED IN 2008; BY A BROTHER, LOUIS TAPP AND BY 2 SISTERS, ANN NEWMAN AND MARTHA DUCKWORTH.

HER DAUGHTER CATHY ROBERTS FROM OLDHAM COUNTY, KENTUCKY

2 SONS CHAD WALKER OF HENDERSON AND

CLAY WALKER OF BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA

1 SISTER MARILYN FRITTS OF HENDERSON

6 GRANDCHILDREN AND 2 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE NOON SATURDAY AT RUDY ROWLAND FUNERAL HOME.

DR. MARCUS DALY WILL OFFICIATE.

BURIAL WILL BE IN ROSELAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS.

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 3 TO 7 PM FRIDAY AND UNTIL SERVICE TIME SATURDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
