RANDELL E. HEDGES, SR., 90, OF SEBREE DIED SUNDAY AT REDBANKS COLONIAL TERRACE NURSING HOME.

HE WAS A MEMBER AND DEACON OF SEBREE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH. HE HAD WORKED IN THE OIL FIELD AS A PUMP MAN

AND THEN AT BIG RIVERS ELECTRIC CORPORATION WHERE HE WORKED IN MANY CAPACITIES BEFORE RETIRING IN 1992.

HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A SON, RANDY HEDGES; BY 2 BROTHERS, KENNETH HEDGES AND BOBBY RAY HEDGES AND BY 3 SISTERS, WILDA HEDGES ROBY, LILLIAN HEDGES LEE AND DOROTHY HEDGES.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HIS WIFE OF 66 YEARS JOAN HOWARD HEDGES

1 DAUGHTER FRAN FLOYD

5 GRANDCHILDREN, 4 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 11 AM THURSDAY AT TOMBLINSON FUNERAL HOME SEBREE CHAPEL.

BROTHER TONY APPUGLIES AND DR. BOB HARDISON WILL OFFICIATE.

BURIAL WILL BE IN SPRINGDALE CEMETERY.

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 4 TO 8 PM WEDNESDAY AND FROM 9 AM TO SERVICE TIME THURSDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.

RODNEY A. CURRY, 72, OF MANITOU,KY DIED FRIDAY IN CLARKSVILLE, TENNESSEE.

HE ATTENDED CONCORD GENERAL BAPTIST CHURCH. HE WAS A U.S. ARMY VETERAN OF VIETNAM.

HE HAD WORKED AT ISLAND CREEK COAL AND PEABODY COAL BEFORE STARTING AMERICAN MINING PARTS IN PIKEVILLE.

HE LATER BUILT AND CONTINUTED TO OPERATE WILDCAT MINI STORAGE IN MADISONVILLE.

A KENTUCKY COLONEL, HE WAS A SPORTS BROADCASTER OF HOPKINS COUNTY CENTRAL LADY STORM GAMES FOR OVER TWO DECADES.

HE ALSO SERVED ON THE COMMITTEE FOR THE KENTUCKY/INDIANA ALL STAR GAMES AND WAS COORDINATOR FOR THE JUNIOR ALL STARS.

HE HAD ALSO SERVED AS PRESIDENT OF THE JERRY-O TOY DRIVE.

HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS DAUGHTER, CRYSTAL CURRY CASH, WHO DIED IN 2004 AND BY A BROTHER, JESSE MOORE CURRY.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HIS WIFE OF 7 YEARS VENITA PARRISH CURRY

1 BROTHER TOMMY CURRY OF BLACKFORD, KENTUCKY

NIECES AND NEPHEWS

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 11 AM WEDNESDAY AT BARNETT-STROTHER FUNERAL HOME.

BROTHER EDDIE FLEMING AND CHAPLAIN PAT DEW WILL OFFICIATE.

BURIAL WILL BE IN NEW CLAY CEMETERY IN CLAY.

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 4 TO 7 PM TUESDAY AND FROM 10 AM TO SERVICE TIME WEDNESDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
