KENNETH HINTON, 93, OF HENDERSON DIED MONDAY AT HIS HOME. HE WAS OWNER AND OPERATOR OF HINTON’S AUTO BODY REPAIR FOR SEVERAL YEARS. A U.S. ARMY VETERAN OF WORLD WAR TWO, HE WAS A MEMBER

AND DEACON OF ADVANCED BAPTIST CHURCH FOR MANY YEARS. HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY 2 BROTHERS, FRANK HINTON AND HARLIN HINTON AND 2 SISTERS, SHIRLEY OGLETREE AND BETTY JO WAGGENER.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

2 DAUGHTERS CHERYL LOVIN AND
LISA PITTMAN, BOTH OF HENDERSON

1 BROTHER DARRELL HINTON OF STURGIS

1 SISTER LINDA SAYLES OF GRANGERTOWN, KENTUCKY

5 GRANDCHILDREN

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 1 PM THURSDAY AT WHITSELL FUNERAL HOME IN STURGIS.

BROTHER JERRY BARRON WILL OFFICIATE.

BURIAL WILL BE IN PYTHIAN RIDGE CEMETERY IN STURGIS.

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 10 AM TO SERVICE TIME THURSDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.

W. DARRELL GARDNER, 77, OF HENDERSON DIED MONDAY AT HIS DAUGHTER’S HOME. HE WORKED AT WHIRLPOOL FOR 45 YEARS.

A MEMBER OF THE FORMER AUDUBON BAPTIST CHURCH, HE ATTENDED AIRLINE BAPTIST CHURCH.

HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS WIFE, RUTH ANN GARDNER, 2 BROTHERS, PAUL AND DAVID GARDNER AND BY 2 SISTERS, CAROLYN SLEMP AND REVA SHOULDERS.

AND CHERYL GRAY OF CORYDON

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 10 AM FRIDAY AT BENTON GLUNT FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME.

THE REVEREND JEFF BURKE WILL OFFICIATE.

BURIAL WILL BE IN ROSELAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO DARRELL’S LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 4 TO 8 PM THURSDAY AND FROM 9 AM TO SERVICE TIME FRIDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
