JEAN CHANEY O’NAN, 72, OF HENDERSON DIED SATURDAY AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER.

SHE WAS A 1964 GRADUATE OF HENDERSON CITY HIGH SCHOOL AND A 1966 GRADUATE OF MADISONVILLE SCHOOL OF PRACTICAL NURSING.

SHE HAD WORKED AS AN LPN AT METHODIST HOSPITAL FOR 22 YEARS. A MEMBER OF THE BAPTIST FAITH, SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A SON,

ALVIE FRANKLIN O’NAN, JR., WHO DIED IN 1967; AND BY A GRANDDAUGHTER, CLAUDIA ALICE LEMMING IN 2010.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

1 DAUGHTER JULIE LEMMING OF HENDERSON

1 SON JOHN O’NAN OF HENDERSON

1 SISTER MARY TURNER OF MORGANFIELD

1 BROTHER JAMES A. CHANEY OF FORT THOMAS, KENTUCKY

3 GRANDCHILDREN, 1 UNCLE, 1 NIECE, 1 NEPHEW AND COUSINS

GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE 1 PM THURSDAY AT FAIRMONT CEMETERY.

THE REVEREND ALAN CHAMNESS WILL OFFICIATE.

THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION.

RUDY ROWLAND FUNERAL HOME IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS.

EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY MAY TAKE THE FORM OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO ST. ANTHONY’S HOSPICE

GRAVESIDE SERVICES FOR NELDA MOSS, 92, OF HENDERSON WHO DIED SATURDAY

WILL BE AT FERNWOOD CEMETERY FOLLOWING HER LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 11 AM TO 1 PM TODAY AT TAPP FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME.

THE REVEREND CHUCK SUMMERS WILL OFFICIATE.

EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY MAY TAKE THE FORM OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH FOR NELDA MOSS.
