CYNTHIA JENEEN COATS WILLIAMS, 52, OF HENDERSON DIED FRIDAY AT ST. VINCENT HOSPITAL IN EVANSVILLE. SHE WAS A GRADUATE OF HART COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL; FROM HENDERSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND WESTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY, WHERE SHE OBTAINED HER BACHELOR’S DEGREE. SHE WAS A MEMBER OF NEW JERUSALEM BAPTIST CHURCH WHERE SHE WAS THE MINISTER OF MUSIC FOR OVER 30 YEARS; WAS A MEMBER OF THE MOTHER’S BOARD; WAS AN ASSISTANT SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER AND A MENTOR FOR GIRLS AGES 12 TO 18 AS WELL AS SERVING ON OTHER COMMITTEES. SHE ALSO SERVED ON THE SALVATION ARMY BOARD; WAS THE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FOR ABA CHEER; WAS ASSISTANT CHEER COACH FOR HENDERSON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL AND NORTH MIDDLE SCHOOL; AND WAS THE ASSISTANT COORDINATOR FOR THE HENDERSON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM. SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE ROTARY CLUB AND PREVIOUSLY SERVED ON THE METHODIST HOSPITAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR 6 YEARS. SHE WAS THE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER WITH THE HENDERSON COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION WHERE SHE WAS EMPLOYED FOR 31 YEARS. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A BROTHER, WILLIAM CRUTCHER BROWN.

REVEREND ROBERT L. WHITLOCK WILL OFFICIATE. BURIAL WILL BE IN FERNWOOD CEMETERY.

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 5 TO 8 PM WEDNESDAY AND FROM 9:30 AM TO SERVICE TIME THURSDAY AT THE CHURCH.

JERRY JACKSON JONES, 73, OF CORYDON DIED MONDAY AT REDBANKS COLONIAL TERRACE NURSING HOME IN SEBREE. RETIRED FROM THE CITY OF HENDERSON SANITATION DEPARTMENT, HE HAD ALSO WORKED AT TYSON FOODS.

HIS WIFE OF 47 YEARS SHIRLEY JONES

3 SONS JAY JONES OF CORYDON

CHRIS JONES OF HENDERSON AND

MATTHEW JONES OF SEBREE

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE 10 AM THURSDAY AT BENTON GLUNT FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME.

THE REVEREND NOBLE DENTON WILL OFFICIATE.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO JERRY’S LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 4 TO 8 PM WEDNESDAY AND FROM 9 AM TO SERVICE TIME THURSDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME FOR JERRY JACKSON JONES.
