Henderson, KY–  On Wednesday , Rep. Robby Mills announced his intention to run for the Kentucky State Senate’s 4th District .The 4th district includes all of Caldwell , Crittenden, Henderson, Livingston, Union, and Webster Counties.
“Our region deserves to have a conservative voice in Frankfort that can deliver results and get things done for our communities,” stated Mills.
“During my time on the Henderson City Commission and in the State House, I have been discouraged that the incumbent hasn’t been able to deliver for our region. I intend to be a strong voice in the majority party for the 4th District. I will fight for our interests: better roads and infrastructure, lower taxes on working families, transparency in government ,and a climate where our businesses can grow and jobs can be created. ”
“We need a conservative who actually gets results and someone that is part of the solution, not the problem. We need a listener who puts our interests first , not the interests of special interests. And we need a fighter who will be a voice for Caldwell , Crittenden, Henderson, Livingston, Union, and Webster Counties, not someone who fails to deliver.”
“Throughout my time in elected office, I have been results oriented, delivered on my promises, and have worked to make government transparent, accountable, and less intrusive. In the State Senate I will do the same.”
Rep. Mills graduated from Oral Roberts University with a B.S. in Business Administration. He went on to start several small businesses that he still operates today : NuLook Restoration, NuLook Cleaners, and Pearl Cleaners.
Rep. Mills has been and remains very active in his community. He’s been a member of the Business Network International , Lions Club, Rotary Club, Leadership Henderson, Tri Fest, and Audubon Kids Zone. Rep. Mills has also served on the Henderson Planning Commission (’93’98) and the Henderson City Commission (’98’00;’02’16) before becoming a State Representative in 2017. He and his family attend One Life Church in Henderson and he has participated in over 25 foreign mission trips.
“It’s been a honor to serve the people of the 11th district in Frankfort and I’m grateful for the chance to have been their Representative,” continued Rep. Mills. “Our state faces many challenges, and I believe that serving as a State Senator will give me a unique opportunity to attack these challenges and benefit even more Kentuckians. I look forward to making my case to the people of the 4th Senate district in 2018.”
