The Henderson Lions are reporting a very successful Arts and Crafts Festival at Audubon State Park the weekend of October 4th and 5th. Preliminary final figures show the club made nearly $17,000 in profit, after expenses, money that remains in Henderson for eyesight conservation programs and grants to local non-profit organizations. About 1,800 cars entered the park during the two-day event, bringing an estimated 5,500 visitors who shopped at 126 arts and crafts and food booths.
More than 60 vendors have already signed up for the 2020 Henderson Lions Arts and Crafts Festival at Audubon State Park. Next year’s festival will be held the weekend of October 3rd and 4th.
The next big event for the Henderson Lions is the annual Online and Television Auction. That event is set for February 10th-15th, with a live auction set for February 15th.
