TAMELA KAY “TAMMIE” DUNCAN        59       OF HENDERSON

DIED SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2019 AT HER HOME.  SHE WAS A MEDICAL ASSISTANT WITH DR. ARMANDO SANDOVAL FOR 18 YEARS AND THEN FOR DR. PAUL MOORE FOR 8 YEARS.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A SISTER-IN-LAW, RHONDA SHOULDERS AND BY SEVERAL AUNTS AND UNCLES.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HER HUSBAND OF 40 YEARS       DAVID DUNCAN

2 DAUGHTERS         STEPHANIE FULKERSON AND CHASITY SCOTT OF HENDERSON

1 SISTER        CHARLENE WALKER OF ROBARDS

3 BROTHERS            RUDY SHOULDERS AND GARY SHOULDERS, BOTH OF SPOTTSVILLE AND

                                    ANTHONY SHOULDERS OF BASKETT

1 GRANDSON, 2 GRANDDAUGHTERS, 2 STEP GRANDDAUGHTERS, 1 STEP GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 2 PM SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2019 AT TAPP FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME

THE REVERENDS ELLIS PAYNE, MARK CARTER AND GREG LINDSEY WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN FAIRMONT CEMETERY

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO TAMMIE’S LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 4 TO 8 PM FRIDAY AND FROM NOON TO SERVICE TIME SATURDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME

EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY MAY TAKE THE FORM OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO CHRISTIAN LIFE CENTER, 1515 ROOSEVELT STREET, HENDERSON

CHARLES EDWARD JACKSON      100     OF HENDERSON

DIED LAST WEDNESDAY.  HE WAS A U.S. ARMY VETERAN OF WORLD WAR TWO, HAVING SERVED AS A HEAVY MACHINE GUNNER AND RECEIVED NUMEROUS AWARDS AND MEDALS.

HE ATTENDED THE PADUCAH VOCATIONAL SCHOOL WHERE HE EARNED CERTIFICATION IN AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR WITH A SPECIALTY IN TRANSMISSIONS.  HE HAD WORKED FOR CHRYSLER.  HE WAS THE OLDEST MEMBER OF ST. JOHN’S MASONIC LODGE NO. 4.  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY 3 SONS, CHARLES EDWARD, JR., CARL LYNN AND CLIFFORD LOUIS; BY 3 BROTHERS, WILIAM “BILL” TURNER, FRED TURNER AND CARL LYNN TURNER; BY 2 SISTERS, SILVERINE HAIRLSON AND CLARA STOTT AND BY A GREAT GRANDSON, ROWAN PETRIE.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HIS WIFE OF 72 YEARS      FLORA JACKSON

3 CHILDREN             CHARLES REGINALD JACKSON,

                                    VALERIE ELIZABETH BURRUS AND CHRISTOPHER HENRY JACKSON

2 SISTERS      PEARL TURNER AND GUSTINE TURNER

6 GRANDCHILDREN, 1 STEP GRANDCHILD, 9 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE NOON TODAY AT FIRST MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 10 AM TO SERVICE TIME TODAY AT THE CHURCH

MASON BROTHERS IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS
