Frances Evelyn Scott-McGrew, 85, of Xenia, Illinois

Died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at her home.  She worked for Saniclean and the Zenith Television Factory and then worked in housekeeping and as a CNA for Redbanks Nursing Home and for several Flora nursing homes.  She was a member of Faith Holiness Church in Fairfield, Illinois and had attended Beals Pentecostal Church in the past.  She was preceded in death by her first husband of 38 years, Norman A. Scott, who died in 1988; by two sons, Marvin and Richard Scott; by a brother, Billy Whistle and a sister, Helen Dennison.

Survivors include:

Her husband of 26 years, Donald McGrew

Three Sons, Eugene Scott and David Scott, both of Reed and Brian Scott of Henderson

Four Step-children, Donna Gansauer of Centralia, IL; Roger McGrew of Xenia, IL; Cathy Witsman of Mt. Carmel, IL and Brian McGrew of Belleville, IL

Three Siblings, Clara Donahue of Owensboro, George Whistle of Chandler, IN and Virginia Clouse of KY

Nine Grandchildren, 13 Step Grandchildren; Nine Great Grandchildren, 10 Step Great Grandchildren and One Great-Great Grandchild

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Benton Glunt Funeral Home, A Life Celebration Home

The Reverend Barry Skaggs will officiate

Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Reed

Family and friends are invited to Frances’ Life Celebration from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home

Dorothy G. Clark, 85, of Henderson, died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at The Lucy Smith King Care Center.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for many years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Clark; by a son, Robert Steve Clark; a Step-son, Nick Thompson and by five sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include:

One Son, Bruce Clark of Henderson

Four Grandchildren, three Step-Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews

A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 at Benton Glunt Funeral Home, A Life Celebration Home

Inurnment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens

Family and friends are invited to Dorothy’s Life Celebration from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home

Ona Buckman, 103, died Saturday, December 28, 2019 at her home.  She was a member of Uniontown Methodist Church for 86 years, where she was a Sunday School Teacher.  She was a 70-year member of the Loyal Chapter #274 and the Sebree Chapter #240 Order of Eastern Star.  She was a past Grand Warder of the Grand Chapter of Kentucky Order of Eastern Star.  She helped organize the Past Appointive Grand Officers Club of the Grand Chapter of Kentucky Order of Eastern Star and was its first President.  A Kentucky Colonel, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Elwood Buckman, who died in 1999; by four sisters, May Sayle, Una Fike, Patty Sharp and Alice Jean Cunningham and by seven brothers, Arlynn, Archie, Calvin, Finnie, Earl, Markel and Raymond Lofton.

Survivors include:

Her daughter, Ruth Ann Vanderpool of Henderson

Two grandsons, two Great Grandsons, Nieces, Nephews and her Caregivers, Ann Carlisle, Virginia Chandler and Shirley Colliver.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield

The Reverend Don House will officiate

Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Morganfield

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Uniontown Methodist Church or to St. Anthony’s Hospice

Ruth Evelyn Duncan Henderson, 90, of Henderson

Died Friday, December 27, 2019 at Redbanks Colonial Terrace in Sebree.  She worked for more than 25 years for the Zenith Company.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Henderson; by a daughter, Donna G. Alexander and by her siblings, James Carroll Duncan, Jane Duncan Crowley and Joyce Ann Duncan.

Survivors include:

Her sister, Mary F. Duncan of Sebree

Two brothers, Forrest Duncan, Jr. of Poole and Harold Duncan of Evansville

Two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her caregiver, Karen Morgan

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2020, at Tapp Funeral Home, A Life Celebration Home

Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery

Family and friends are invited to Ruth’s Life Celebration from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home
