DIED SATURDAY, JANUARY 18, 2020 AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, BERTIS CHAMBERS; HER DAUGHTER, JUDY McCLURE; BY 4 SISTERS, MAYBELLE JACKSON, NETTIE McCLELLAND, BARBARA RAPIER AND ALYCE WILSON; BY A BROTHER, MARSHALL WILSON, JR.; A GRANDDAUGHTER, UNIQUE STONE AND BY A GRANDSON, CHRIS CHAMBERS, JR.

THE REVEREND CHARLES JOHNSON WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN FERNWOOD CEMETERY

DIED WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15, 2020 AT METHODIST HOSPITAL.  SHE HAD WORKED FOR SERVICE TOOL & PLASTIC.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A SISTER, TRACIE SAMPLES.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HER LIFE PARTNER OF 21 YEARS            ROBERT ROSE

3 CHILDREN             CODY SAMPLES, OLIVIA ROSE AND LACIE RAVEN ROSE

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 1 PM WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 22, 2020 AT R. MASON BROTHERS MEMORIAL CHAPEL IN EVANSVILLE

DIED SATURDAY, JANUARY 18, 2020.  SHE WAS A LIFELONG MEMBER OF CAIRO UNITED METHODIST CHURCH WHERE SHE HAD BEEN A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER.  SHE ALSO WAS A VOLUNTEER AT METHODIST HOSPITAL.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, CHARLES LEROY SNIDER; BY SIX BROTHERS, R.R., PAUL, ORVILLE, JUNIOR, CLAUDE AND GUY AND BY THREE SISTERS, KATHERINE, LeeBELL AND MAY EVELYN.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

2 SONS    GREG SNIDER OF BALLWIN, MISSOURI AND MARK SNIDER OF COLUMBUS, INDIANA

DIED SATURDAY, JANUARY 18, 2020 AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER.  A U.S. ARMY VETERAN, HE WORKED AT BEAR BRAND HOSIERY MILL AND AT CHRYSLER MOTOR COMPANY IN EVANSVILLE.  HE CO-FOUNDED SEVERAL BUSINESSES INCLUDING AUDUBON MARKET, COBB’S PIC-N-PAY, E.M. COBB OIL COMPANY, E.M. COBB FARMS, WEST KENTUCKY AUTO SALVAGE, WEST KENTUCKY THOROUGHBRED TRAINING CENTER, CASEY’S PAWN SHOP, CASEY’S RENT-TO-OWN, CASEY’S PAYDAY LOANS AND THE BLACK HORSE LOUNGE.  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS SECOND WIFE, MARY ALICE CASEY COBB.
