AGNES ODELL MADDEN               97       OF DIXON

DIED FRIDAY, JANUARY 24, 2020 AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER.  SHE WAS A MEMBER OF LAKEVIEW MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH WHERE SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE CHOIR AND WAS A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER FOR MANY YEARS.  SHE WORKED IN THE LUNCHROOM AT WEBSTER COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL FOR 13 YEARS; WAS A FORMER MEMBER OF EASTERN STAR NO. 382; AND A MEMBER OF THE BAPTIST WOMEN’S MISSION GROUP.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, E.G. MADDEN; BY A GRANDDAUGHTER, AMANDA MADDEN WHO DIED IN 1994; BY A SISTER, HAZEL PARKER AND BY A BROTHER, VERNON RODGERS.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

2 SONS          LARRY MADDEN OF DIXON AND MILTON MADDEN OF CLAY

2 DAUGHTERS         MABLE DACY OF PROVIDENCE AND CHARLOTTE ARTZ OF DAYTON, OHIO

1 BROTHER              CLEATIS RODGERS OF DIXON

1 SISTER        NAOMI OGLESBY OF WHITE PLAINS, KENTUCKY

 

SEVERAL GRANDCHILDREN, SEVERAL GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, GREAT-GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE  1 PM WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29, 2020 AT LAKEVIEW MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH

BROTHER JODY HUGHES AND BROTHER JON BRUMFIEL WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN LAKEVIEW CEMETERY

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 4 TO 8 PM TUESDAY AND FROM 10 AM TO SERVICE TIME WEDNESDAY AT THE CHURCH

TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS

DANNETTA DAWN “DEE DEE” WILLOUGHBY             62       OF DIXON

DIED FRIDAY, JANUARY 24, 2020 AT BAPTIST HEALTH IN MADISONVILLE.  SHE WORKED FOR THE WEBSTER COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION AS TREASURER.  A MEMBER OF PROVIDENCE CHURCH OF CHRIST, SHE WAS A FOSTER CARE ADVOCATE, INTERNATIONAL CHILD SUPPORT, AND SCHOOL VOLUNTEER.  A 1975 GRADUATE OF WCHS, SHE WAS ALSO THE WEBSTER COUNTY GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY COACH FOR 3 YEARS AND WAS AN ASSISTANT GIRL’S TRACK COACH.

HER HUSBAND        JAMES WILLOUGHBY

1 SON             TRENT WILLOUGHBY OF DIXON

HER FATHER            BARRY VILLINES OF MADISONVILLE

1 SISTER        TONYA WATSON OF DIXON

1 GRANDCHILD, 1 NIECE AND 1 NEPHEW

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE NOON TUESDAY, JANUARY 28, 2020 AT TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME IN DIXON

BROTHER CHIP PALMER WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN FAIRVIEW CEMETERY

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 3 TO 8 PM TODAY AND FROM 8 AM TO SERVICE TIME TOMORROW AT THE FUNERAL HOME

FOR DANNETTA DAWN “DEE DEE” WILLOUGHBY

MARGARET J. WOODARD           90       OF DIXON

DIED SATURDAY, JANUARY 25, 2020 AT HER HOME.  SHE RETIRED FROM GE AFTER 21 YEARS OF SERVICE AND ATTENDED PROVIDENCE GENERAL BAPTIST CHURCH.  A LIFETIME MEMBER OF THE WOMEN’S AUXILIARY AT VFW POST NO. 5484 IN PROVIDENCE, SHE WAS A KENTUCKY COLONEL.  SHE WAS A PAST MEMBER OF THE DIXON LION’S CLUB AND ALSO SERVED ON THE POOLE HARVEST DAZE COMMITTEE FOR 10 YEARS.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, WAYNE WOODARD, BY 2 SISTERS, LEE ORA YATES AND EVELYN GATLIN AND BY 3 BROTHERS, DURWOOD, MARION AND WARREN MARKS.

1 GRANDDAUGHTER, 2 STEP GRANDCHILDREN, 2 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, 7 STEP GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND 1 GREAT-GREAT GRANDCHILD

 

GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE 11 AM THURSDAY, JANUARY 30, 2020 AT MOUNT LEBANON CHURCH CEMETERY NEAR SEBREE

THE REVERENDS BARRY CULLEN AND DOUG STALLINS WILL OFFICIATE

TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME IN DIXON IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS
