THOMAS W. “TOMMY” KEMP                78       OF HENDERSON

DIED MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2020 AT CYPRESS GROVE REHABILITATION CENTER IN NEWBURGH.  HE WAS A U.S. MARINE CORPS VETERAN AND WAS CO-FOUNDER OF MILLS AUTO SALES WHERE HE WORKED UNTIL RETIREMENT.  HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE MASONIC LODGE NO. 958; WAS A MASTER MASON, SERVED A TERM AS DISTRICT DEPUTY FOR WESTERN KENTUCKY AND WAS A MEMBER OF RIZPAH TEMPLE.  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS WIFE OF 57 YEARS, SANDRA L. KEMP.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

2 CHILDREN    THOMAS M. “MIKE” KEMP AND KATHY K. WILLOUGHBY, BOTH OF HENDERSON

3 GRANDCHILDREN, 1 GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER AND

HIS CAREGIVER, ANGIE ANDERSON

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 1 PM THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2020 AT RUDY ROWLAND FUNERAL HOME

ENTOMBMENT WILL BE IN ROSELAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS MAUSOLEUM WITH MILITARY RITES PERFORMED BY THE AMERICAN LEGION WORSHAM POST NO. 40

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 3 TO 8 PM WEDNESDAY AND UNTIL SERVICE TIME THURSDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME, WHERE MASONIC SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 6 PM WEDNESDAY

EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY MAY TAKE THE FORM OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE HENDERSON COUNTY DIABETES COALITION, P O BOX 863, HENDERSON

BOBBY L. HOBGOOD, JR.             65       OF DIXON

 

DIED TUESDAY AT HIS HOME.  HE HAD BEEN A DIESEL MECHANIC FOR UNION CARBIDE FROM 1978 TO 1991 AND ALSO RAN HIS OWN TOOL TRUCK CALLED ABC’S TOOLS FROM 1991 TO 1995.  A MEMBER OF HARMONY BAPTIST CHURCH, HE ALSO SERVED AS PRESIDENT OF THE WEBSTER COUNTY QUARTERBACK CLUB FOR 10 YEARS.

HIS WIFE OF 46 YEARS      ANITA HOBGOOD

2 SONS          SCOTT HOBGOOD AND COREY HOBGOOD, BOTH OF DIXON

HIS MOTHER            HELEN HOBGOOD OF DIXON

2 SISTERS      KATHY WILSON OF HENDERSON AND TINA PRUITT OF PROVIDENCE

3 BROTHERS            RANDY HOBGOOD AND GREG HOBGOOD, BOTH OF DIXON AND

                                    DARRELL HOBGOOD OF PORTAGE, INDIANA

3 GRANDSONS, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 2 PM FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2020 AT TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME IN DIXON

MINISTER JAMES PALMER WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN OLD CEDAR GROVE CEMETERY IN TILDEN

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 10 AM TO SERVICE TIME FRIDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME
