The Henderson City Building is closed to the public until further notice – Henderson Mayor Steve Austin has also declared a state of emergency effective immediately -utility payments will be taken at the two drive-thru windows and payments may also be dropped off at the drop box in the Depot parking lot across from the Henderson Post Office. Make sure it’s the city utility drop box and not the library’s drop box located nearby.
Both the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office & Property Valuation Administrator’s office will not accept in-person customers starting Wednesday. Those needing to conduct business with either office can call during normal business hours. The Sheriff’s office can be reached at 270-826-2713. In case of emergency call 9-1-1. City Firefighter informational meeting scheduled for March 18th at the JFK Center is canceled. The next session is currently scheduled for April 8th at the Greater Norris Chapel Baptist Church.
