MARGARET JOAN WOODRING     93    OF HENDERSON

DIED TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2020 AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER.  DURING WORLD WAR TWO, SHE WORKED IN AN AIRPLANCE FACTORY IN ENGLAND.  AFTER MOVING TO THE UNITED STATES, SHE WORKED AS A BUYER FOR JACOBSON’S IN LAVONIA, MICHIGAN BEFORE MOVING TO HENDERSON.  SHE WAS A MEMBER OF ST. PAUL’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH WHERE SHE WORKED IN THE ST. ANN’S GUILD.  SHE ALSO VOLUNTEERED AT METHODIST HOSPITAL FOR 30 YEARS AND AT CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY OUTREACH FOR 12 YEARS.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, LLOYD HICKMAN WOODRING WHO DIED IN 1982.

1 STEPSON               BRUCE WOODRING OF HENDERSON

1 STEPDAUGHTER      JUDY WOODRING OF MORGANFIELD

DIED SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2020 AT HIS HOME.  HE WORKED FOR ACCURIDE FOR 22 YEARS AND THEN OWNED AND OPERATED ALCO AND SONS UNTIL HE RETIRED.  A KENTUCKY COLONEL, HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE SONS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION POST NO. 40 AND THE MOOSE LODGE NO. 732.

DIED WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, 2020 AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER.  HE WAS A MEMBER OF CAIRO UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, THE JERUSALEM MASONIC LODGE NO. 9 AND THE  RIZPAH SHRINE IN MADISONVILLE.  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS WIFE, LOIS ECHOLS; BY A SISTER, EVELYN SALLEE AND A BROTHER, BUB ECHOLS.

2 CHILDREN             CURTIS RYAN ECHOLS OF HENDERSON AND VICKI LEE ECHOLS OF CAIRO

DIED TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2020 AT HIS HOME.  HE WORKED 25 YEARS AS A PROJECT MANAGER AND MECHANICAL ENGINEER FOR GEORGE KOCH & SONS.  HE WAS A MEMBER AND FORMER ELDER OF TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH.  HE WAS ALSO A COACH FOR THE PCMA.
