CLAY DRURY DAMRATH               84       OF HENDERSON

DIED THURSDAY, MAY 14, 2020 AT COLUMBIA HEALTHCARE IN EVANSVILLE.  RETIRED FROM WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION, HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS WIFE, DOROTHY DAMRATH, A DAUGHTER, TAMMY JEAN SCOTT, BY A SISTER, AGNES PULLUM AND BY 3 BROTHERS, SHERMAN, PAUL AND CHARLES DAMRATH.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

3 SONS          DONALD DAMRATH OF BLUFF CITY,

                        JODY DAMRATH AND

                        CLAY DAMRATH, JR., BOTH OF SPOTTSVILLE

1 BROTHER              CLIFFORD DAMRATH OF EVANSVILLE

BENTON GLUNT & TAPP FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME, IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS

JAMES EDWARD “JIM ED” GARRETT     85       OF HENDERSON

DIED THURSDAY, MAY 14, 2020 AT ST. VINCENT HOSPITAL IN EVANSVILLE.  A MEMBER OF GENEVA BAPTIST CHURCH, HE WAS A U.S. ARMY VETERAN OF THE KOREAN CONFLICT.  HE RETIRED IN 1997 FROM THE CASTING DEPARTMENT OF ALCAN ALUMINUM CORPORATION.  HE WAS A PREVIOUS MEMBER OF THE HENDERSON MEN’S SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION AND THE JERUSALEM MASONIC LODGE NO. 9.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HIS SIGNIFICANT OTHER OF 10 YEARS             BETTY SIGHTS OF GENEVA

2 DAUGHTERS         CRYSTAL COFFMAN OF SMITH MILLS AND SUE HINKLE OF HENDERSON

3 SONS          KENNY GARRETT OF HENDERSON, RANDY SIGHTS OF SMITH MILLS AND

                        EDDIE GARRETT, JR. OF BARDSTOWN, KENTUCKY

3 SISTERS      MARY G. “DINKY” FULKERSON OF HENDERSON

                        MARIE NGUYEN OF LEXINGTON AND

                        ANN HUNTER OF SANFORD, FLORIDA

9 GRANDCHILDREN, 14 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND ALL OF BETTY’S GRANDCHILDREN AND GREAT GRANDCHILDREN

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 2 PM WEDNESDAY AT BENTON GLUNT & TAPP FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME.  DUE TO CURRENT RESTRICTIONS, A LIMITED NUMBER OF 50 WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE, AS WE OPEN ANOTHER PHASE

THE REVEREND TIM SHOCKLEY WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN ROSELAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS

FAMILY AND FRIENDS, LIMITED TO 50, ARE INVITED TO JIM ED’S LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 11 AM TO SERVICE TIME WEDNESDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME

EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY MAY TAKE THE FORM OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO GENEVA BAPTIST CHURCH
