water street to close at third street to assist trucks working on riverfront

HENDERSON, Ky. – The City of Henderson Public Works Department will close Water Street at Third Street on Tuesday, June 16, to assist trucks entering and exiting the Third Street boat ramp.

Work has been scheduled on the riverfront to clear mud and silt that has accumulated while the Ohio River has been elevated for a long period.

The closure is expected to take place from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and could possibly extend to Wednesday during working hours if more week is needed at the riverfront.
