DIED FRIDAY, JULY 3, 2020. A 1970 GRADUATE OF HENDERSON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL, HE RECEIVED THE TITLE OF COLONEL’S NUMBER 1 FAN, WHEN INDUCTED INTO THE HENDERSON COUNTY SPORTS HALL OF FAME IN 2008. KNOWN FOR HIS LOYAL SUPPORT OF LOCAL SPORTS PROGRAMS, HE WAS A MEMBER OF COMMUNITY BAPTIST CHURCH AND THE HENDERSON ROTARY CLUB. HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A SISTER, JEAN SEIDEN AND BY A BROTHER, ROBERT V. LAMBERT, JR.
