A GRADUATE OF MARYWOOD ACADEMY IN GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN, SHE WORKED SEVERAL YEARS AS A REALTOR AND THEN AS SUPERVISOR OF THE JEWELRY COUNTER AT THE MORGANFIELD WAL-MART. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, WILLIAM T. “TOM” OWENS; BY A DAUGHTER, KATHY JO FISHER AND A SISTER, PATRICIA BUCKOWING.
