DIED SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2020 AT DEACONESS HENDERSON HOSPITAL. 

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HER HUSBAND OF 43 YEARS       RALPH CROOK

1 DAUGHTER           CRYSTAL RIGDON OF HENDERSON

1 SON            DAVID CROOK OF HENDERSON

2 BROTHERS            MARK BYRD OF CORYDON AND RAY BYRD OF WALKERTON, INDIANA

5 GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 11 AM THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2020 AT DUPEY BAPTIST CHURCH

BURIAL WILL BE IN PRESBYTERIAN CEMETERY IN HEBBARDSVILLE

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO CARLA’S LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 4 TO 8 PM WEDNESDAY AT BENTON GLUNT AND TAPP FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME AND FROM 9 AM TO SERVICE TIME THURSDAY AT THE CHURCH

LOUISE E. MEYERS        84       OF HENDERSON, FORMERLY OF GREENUP COUNTY, KENTUCKY

DIED FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2020 AT KINGS DAUGHTER HOSPITAL IN ASHLAND, KENTUCKY.  SHE HAD WORKED AT SHRINERS CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL IN LEXINGTON AND LATER WAS A PRIVATE SITTER.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWIN BROTHERS, RONALD AND DONALD BROWN; BY HER HUSBAND, FOREST E. “F.E.” MEYERS AND A DAUGHTER, CONNIE JOHNSON.

2 DAUGHTERS         BARBARA MEYERS SHIVER OF HENDERSON AND

                                      BELINDA PARKER OF ASHLAND, KENTUCKY

5 SONS          MICHAEL MEYERS AND JAMES MEYERS, BOTH OF HENDERSON

                        ALLEN MEYERS OF FRESNO, CALIFORNIA

                        DAVID MEYERS OF SAVANNAH, GEORGIA AND

                        JEFFREY MEYERS OF MADISON, ALABAMA

2 SISTERS      SHIRLEY FLOCKER OF WORTHINGTON, KENTUCKY AND

                          NORMA LeMASTER OF FLATWOODS, KENTUCKY

A PRIVATE GRAVESIDE SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT ROSELAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS

THE REVEREND ALAN CHAMNESS WILL OFFICIATE

BENTON GLUNT AND TAPP FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME, IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS

NANCY C. NELSON WERLEY         83       OF DIXON

DIED FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2020 AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER.  SHE WAS A RETIRED RN, HAVING WORKED AT METHODIST HOSPITAL FOR SEVERAL YEARS.  A MEMBER OF FAIRVIEW CHURCH OF CHRIST IN DIXON, SHE WAS A VOLUNTEER AT THE WEBSTER COUNTY SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER WHERE SHE HELPED DELIVER MEALS AND WAS AN AMERICORP MEMBER.  SHE WAS ALSO ACTIVE WITH THE CARING FOR WEBSTER COUNTY CANCER FIGHTERS ORGANIZATION.

2 SONS          KEITH DeHAVEN AND KEVIN DeHAVEN, BOTH OF DIXON

2 GRANDCHILDREN

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 2 PM TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2020 AT TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME IN DIXON

MINISTER AUDIE CHERRY WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN BOXVILLE-DAVID REST CEMETERY

FRIENDS MAY CALL UNTIL SERVICE TIME TUESDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME
