Important Local COVID-19 News Briefing Scheduled Friday Morning

City of Henderson Mayor Steve Austin will host a news conference with Henderson County Judge-Executive Brad Schneider and local public health officials to address a recent community surge in COVID-19 cases.

The news conference will take place at 10 a.m. CDT on Friday, Oct. 9, and will include Clayton Horton, Public Health Director at the Green River District Health Department, and Linda White, administrator of Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

The public is invited and encouraged to watch the press conference via Zoom, Spectrum Cable Channel 200, live-streamed to the city’s website (www.cityofHendersonKy.org) or on Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/CityOfHendersonKY/
