LITA BOYER McATEE          93       OF HENDERSON

DIED FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2020 AT THE LINDA E. WHITE HOSPICE HOUSE IN EVANSVILLE.  SHE WORKED AS A COOK IN THE EARLY 1960’S AT SMITH MILLS SCHOOL; THEN FOR 5 YEARS AT SIMON’S SHOES AND 25 YEARS AT JC PENNEY’S DOWNTOWN.   SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, ALBERT McATEE, AND HER DAUGHTER, JUNE WATKINS.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

2 SONS          JERRY AND TERRY

2 BROTHERS             ARNE BOYER AND HEIDER TIETZ

10 GRANDCHILDREN AND 18 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN

 

A PRIVATE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT FAIRMONT CEMETERY

TOMBLINSON FUNERAL HOME IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS

EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY MAY TAKE THE FORM OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE LEUKEMIA AND LYMPHOMA SOCIETY OR TO THE LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER

THOMAS HAMILTON “TOMMY” SANDEFUR              76       OF HENDERSON

DIED FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2020 AT DEACONESS GATEWAY IN NEWBURGH.  HE WORKED FOR CSX RAILROAD WHERE HE WAS A TRACK ENGINEER.  A MEMBER OF CALHOUN CHRISTIAN CHURCH, HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A SISTER, FRANCIS TOMES, A BROTHER ALDEN SANDEFUR AND BY A GRANDSON, DEVIN WADDELL.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HIS WIFE OF 42 YEARS      SUE SANDEFUR

4 CHILDREN             KAREN WADDELL AND BRUCE REYNOLDS, BOTH OF HENDERSON

                                      THOMAS F. SANDEFUR OF KUTTAWA AND

                                      JAMES BRIAN SANDEFUR OF UTICA

4 GRANDCHILDREN AND 2 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN

 

GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE 11 AM THURSDAY AT FAIRMONT CEMETERY

BROTHER CLINT HISER WILL OFFICIATE

TOMBLINSON FUNERAL HOME HENDERSON CHAPEL IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS
