A 1947 GRADUATE OF BOSSE HIGH SCHOOL AND THEN LOCKYEAR BUSINESS COLLEGE, SHE WORKED AT BUCYUS-ERIE IN EVANSVILLE AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY 2 SISTERS, HER TWIN, JACQUELINE DAN THOMASON, AND MARJORIE MAE BERRAY.

A 1944 GRADUATE OF BARRETT MANUAL TRAINING HIGH SCHOOL, SHE EARNED HER BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN EDUCATION FROM EVANSVILLE COLLEGE AND HER MASTER’S IN EDUCATION FROM WESTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY. SHE WAS A TEACHER IN THE HENDERSON COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM FOR 27 YEARS. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, HENSIL “PETE” COHRON AND BY 2 BROTHERS, ELVIN AND CHARLES PRUITT.
