DIED FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2020.  SHE HAD ATTENDED IMMANUEL BAPTIST TEMPLE.  A 1947 GRADUATE OF BOSSE HIGH SCHOOL AND THEN LOCKYEAR BUSINESS COLLEGE, SHE WORKED AT BUCYUS-ERIE IN EVANSVILLE AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY 2 SISTERS, HER TWIN, JACQUELINE DAN THOMASON, AND MARJORIE MAE BERRAY.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

3 CHILDREN             MARSHA PORTER REYNOLDS OF LOUISVILLE

                                    KIMBERLY AYERS STOLZY OF HENDERSON AND

                                    CHARLES WILLIAM AYERS OF PROVIDENCE

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE NOON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2020 AT BENTON GLUNT AND TAPP FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME

BURIAL WILL BE IN ROSELAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS

DIED TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2020.  A 1944 GRADUATE OF BARRETT MANUAL TRAINING HIGH SCHOOL, SHE EARNED HER BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN EDUCATION FROM EVANSVILLE COLLEGE AND HER MASTER’S IN EDUCATION FROM WESTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY.  SHE WAS A TEACHER IN THE HENDERSON COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM FOR 27 YEARS.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, HENSIL “PETE” COHRON AND BY 2 BROTHERS, ELVIN AND CHARLES PRUITT.
