DIED SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2020 AT HIS HOME. A 1953 GRADUATE OF HOLY NAME HIGH SCHOOL, HE SERVED IN THE U.S. ARMY AT FORT KNOX FOR TWO YEARS. HE WAS AN EMPLOYEE OF ELECTRIC MOTORS FROM AGE 15 UNTIL HE RETIRED IN 2014. A LIFELONG MEMBER OF HOLY NAME OF JESUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, HE VOLUNTEERED WITH NUMEROUS ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDING THE CHANEY HOUSE GROUP HOME AND BSA EXPLORER POST 350.

SHE WAS PECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND OF 58 YEARS, ROBERT L. “BOB” BAIRD WHO DIED IN 2006, BY A SON, JAMES ROBERT BAIRD, SR. WHO ALSO DIED IN 2006, BY A GRANDSON, JEFFREY BRAKE AND 2 SISTERS, WANDA DAUGHTERY AND DIMPLE HENDERSON.

DIED THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2020 AT HIS HOME. HE ATTENDED DOUGLASS HIGH SCHOOL AND WAS A 1960 GRADUATE OF WESTERN KENTUCKY VOCATIONAL SCHOOL IN PADUCAH. HE WAS A LONGTIME MEMBER OF FIRST MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH WHERE HE WAS A DEACON, TRUSTEE, PRINCIPAL OF VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL FOR 10 YEARS AND SERVED AS TREASURER OF THE GREEN RIVER VALLEY DISTRICT. HE RETIRED FROM ALCOA WARRICK OPERATIONS IN NEWBURGH AFTER 30 YEARS OF SERVICE AS A CRANE OPERATOR. HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A SON, JAMES LEE BRADFORD, JR. AND A BROTHER, RICHARD BRADFORD, II.
