‘Tis the Season to Make Downtown Henderson Sparkle!

HENDERSON, KY (December 3, 2020) – The Downtown Henderson Partnership is excited to be hosting
the 2020 Deck the Downtown decorating contest! Business owners and homeowners alike are
encouraged to transform our downtown into a festive wonderland this holiday with creative, whimsical,
and brightly lit windows and displays.
“This year, especially, we need all the joy the holiday season can bring,” says Lindsay Locasto, Executive
Director of the Downtown Henderson Partnership. “Every year downtown Henderson impresses us
more and more with the beautiful Christmas decorations that bring our community together.”
For downtown businesses, there will be three lucky winners in each of two categories, exterior and
interior decorating, as well as a People’s Choice Award. Judges will select our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place
Award winners, with the judging to begin at 1pm on Dec. 16. Voting for the People’s Choice Award will
take place December 13-20. New for 2020, judges will also be selecting three winners in the new
downtown residential decorating contest. Call the Downtown Henderson Partnership’s office at (270)

All winners will be announced on Facebook Live on Wednesday, Dec. 23.
Ballots for the People’s Choice Award will be available beginning Dec 13 at all our DHP merchant
members.
