SHE WAS A MEMBER OF SHADY GROVE GENERAL BAPTIST CHURCH IN POOLE AND WAS A 50-YEAR MEMBER OF THE TILDEN HOMEMAKERS CLUB. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, OLAN ALLEN, BY A SISTER, RUBY ANN SHERROD AND 2 BROTHERS, R.W. BRIDWELL AND CHARLIE RAY “HOOTER” BRIDWELL.

SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, JESSE WOODARD IN 2005, BY A SON, RONALD LEE WOODARD IN 2004 AND BY A BROTHER, ROBERT LEE BURDEN.

DIED SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2020 AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER. A U.S. ARMY VETERAN, HE WAS A LOCAL BUSINESS OWNER AND SERVED MANY WITH THEIR INSURANCE NEEDS. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE HENDERSON SHRINERS CLUB AND SERVED AS A LIAISON BETWEEN PEDIATRICIANS AND THE SHRINERS HOSPITAL IN LEXINGTON AND OFTEN PROVIDED THE TRANSPORTATION FOR CHILDREN. HE HEADED UP THE HENDERSON SHRINER’S CLUB CHRISTMAS PARADE MANY TIMES. HE WAS ALSO ACTIVE WITH THE HENDERSON MASONIC LODGE. HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY 2 SISTERS, AGNES BROOKS AND INEZ BAKAN AND BY 2 BROTHERS, EDWIN MABRY AND CARROLL MABRY.
