HE SERVED AS PASTOR OF NUMEROUS CHURCHES AND AS AN EVANGELIST AT TENT SERVICES ALL OVER THE STATE. HE ATTENDED DOUGLAS HIGH SCHOOL AND WAS A U.S. ARMY VETERAN. HE WORKED WITH THE FAMILY BUSINESS, THE FORMER WOOLFOLK’S BARBECUE. HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY AN INFANT SON, VERBAL WOOLFOLK, BY 4 BROTHERS, JOE, JAMES, OTIS, AND DAVID WOOLFOLK, BY 2 SISTERS, IDA L. THOMAS AND ETTA MAE JOHNSON.
