WILLIAM DORRIS HALL 94 OF HENDERSON
DIED FRIDAY, DECEMBER 25, 2020 AT HIS HOME. HE WAS A LIFELONG MEMBER OF THE FORMER IMMANUEL BAPTIST TEMPLE AND WAS A FOUNDING AND PRESENT MEMBER OF COMMUNITY BAPTIST CHURCH. HE WAS A SELF-TAUGHT CLOCK REPAIRMAN AND WAS A LONG TIME EMPLOYEE OF CUSTOM RESINS, GULF CHEMICAL AND SPENCER CHEMICAL. HE HAD ALSO BEEN A LITTLE LEAGUE COACH FOR OVER 25 YEARS. HE WAS A U.S. NAVY VETERAN OF WORLD WAR II. HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS WIFE OF 71 YEARS, NINA, AND BY A DAUGHTER, JULIE.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE:
3 CHILDREN TIMOTHY G. HALL, SUSAN BICKWERMERT AND
ROBERT HALL, ALL OF HENDERSON
1 SISTER GERALDINE GIBSON OF HENDERSON
8 GRANDCHILDREN, 10 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES AND NEPHEWS
PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICES WILL BE HELD MONDAY, DECEMBER 28, 2020 AT COMMUNITY BAPTIST CHURCH
DR. TIM HOBBS WILL OFFICIATE
BURIAL WILL BE IN FAIRMONT CEMETERY
THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION
RUDY ROWLAND FUNERAL HOME IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS
