Michael Van Duncan, age 68, of Henderson, died Friday at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

He was a retired tanker truck driver for Brenntag Mid-South in Henderson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jimmy Duncan, Shirley Duncan, Jack Duncan, and Diane Gibson.

Survivors include the love of his life for 15 years, Sandy Bowling.

Two sons, Jason Haynes of Spottsville and Nick Haynes of Owensboro.

Siblings, Linda McChesney of Providence, KY, Pam Lokey, Johnny Duncan, Kevin Duncan, Junior McVay, and Loretta Pittard all of Woodbury, TN; Keith Duncan of Murfreesboro, TN, and Nancy Duncan of Spencer, TN,

5 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.

Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chaple is in charge of the arrangements for Michael Van Duncan.

 

 

Ora Louise Rogers, age 75, of Henderson, died Sunday, at the Madisonville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of the United Church of the Nazarene in Henderson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Dale McKinney; stepfather, Elmer Chapple; brothers, Roy Piper and Marion Chapple; and three step-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Frank Rogers.

Four daughters, Kathy Higgs of Smith Mills, Cindy Renfrow of Morgantown, Lisa Shaw of Nicholasville, KY, and Jacquline Siseo of Arkansas.

Six sons, Raymond McKinney of Henderson, Kenny McKinney of Kentucky, Glenn McKinney of Princeton, KY, Larry McKinney, and Johnny McKinney, both of Morganfield, and Daniel Rogers of Madisonville.

Two sisters, Edna Rigdon of Madisonville, and Georgia Francis of Henderson.

29 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.

Burial will follow at the Smith Mills Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until the service time Wednesday, both at the funeral home for Ora Louise Rogers.

Larry L. “Stoney” Stone, age 75, of Henderson, Kentucky, died Saturday, at his home.

 

Stone attended both Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and Lawndale Baptist Church.  After 30 years of service, he retired from the City of Henderson where he had been in charge of cemeteries and parks.  Upon retirement, Stoney began a private mowing service and assisted at the Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.

 

Deacon John Prough and the Reverend Orbley Ramsey will officiate.

 

Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

 

Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the service time today at the funeral home.

 

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice for Larry L. “Stoney” Stone.
