Work scheduled for completion in 2 weeks

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (May 19, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 2 Office notifies the public of resurfacing efforts for a section of U.S. 41 in Henderson County. The work will be addressed between KY 425/Henderson Bypass and KY 416/Robards.
Milling operations will begin Friday, May 21, in preparation for resurfacing. Asphalt paving operations will begin on Tuesday, May 25. The work will address a section of U.S. 41 from mile point 3.02 – 10.75.
Paving efforts are scheduled for completion within two weeks of the start date.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The start and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
