Henderson County High School is excited to welcome Abby Hampton as the new Boys and Girls Swimming Coach. Hampton has over 32 years of experience in teaching and coaching competitive swimming. Most recently, she was the head swim coach at Owensboro Catholic High School. Prior to her teaching and coaching career, Hampton swam for the College of Charleston as a scholarship athlete from 1994-98.
“I am excited to rejoin the Henderson County coaching staff and to build the swimming program.”
All students that are interested in swimming are encouraged to come out this year. Coach Hampton has a strong background in developing swimmers and can help you fall in love with the sport of swimming and its many benefits.
