This Parent Link message has been issued by Henderson County Schools, Superintendent Dr. Bob Lawson:
Due to the impending winter weather for our area, in addition to staff shortages and student/staff absenteeism across the district, we have decided that this Thursday and Friday (January 20th and 21st) will be NTI days of instruction. Your child’s school will communicate with you regarding their specific NTI learning from home plans.
Additionally, all HCS childcare locations will be CLOSED on Thursday and Friday.
Our Child Nutrition Dept. will provide Grab and Go meals on Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at A.B. Chandler, Bend Gate, Jefferson, and Spottsville elementary schools.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing our students back to school in person on Monday.
