Denny’s is known for serving its grand slam breakfasts but this morning it was the Denny’s facade that got slammed.
Just shortly after 10 am Henderson city police, fire and other first responders were called to yet another vehicle verses building
traffic crash at Denny’s on US highway 41 North. Upon arrival units found a burgundy SUV had pulled into the Denny’s lot, jumped
the curb and came to rest after striking the front of the restaurant. Fortunately, authorities say no one was hurt in the crash however
a couple of patrons inside the restaurant were a bit shaken by the impact. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The name of the driver has not been released. The restaurant remains open as usual with just superficial damage to the structure.
This is just the latest in a series of car verses building traffic crashes than have been taking place in Henderson in recent months.
