Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival will kick off ticket sales via the website at sandyleesongfest.com for the 2022 Songfest on June 1st. Songfest will return July 27th – 30tht in Downtown Henderson. Our 2022 festival will welcome back Grammy award-winning songwriters to the tri-state area while raising money for local non-profits. The annual festival creates an intimate seeing while attendees get to hear the stories behind the hit songs we hear on the radio. Songwriters in attendance have written the following songs, The Dance by Garth Brooks, It’s Five O’clock Somewhere by Alan Jackson, She’s Everything by Brad Paisley and many more!
“Songfest is a unique experience; I have been going for several years and I always look forward to hearing the award-winning songwriters. I love being able to hear their interpretation of their hit song,” said Jessica Beaven – Sandy Lee Songfest media co-chair.
As a reminder for those planning to attend the festival the purchased ticket guarantees access to a show. If you have a preferred show, then is it crucial to arrive early. Our venues are first-come, first-serve. Songfest will be hosted at Rookies and Hometown Roots with shows each night of the festival. On Wednesday and Thursday evening there will be one show, and Friday and Saturday evening there will be two shows.
