City Public Works Crews to Re-stripe Downtown Parking Spaces

HENDERSON, KY, June 2, 2022- Work crews with the City of Henderson Public Works Department will be re-striping the parking spaces in the 
downtown corridor on Sunday, June 5, weather depending.
The work area is from Washington Street to Fourth Street and Water Street to Green Street with rolling closures working around Sunday hours 
for downtown churches and restaurants. Closing of streets will happen only briefly while the paint is being applied.
Also, in June during the early morning hours, crews will be working on repainting curbs and parking space numbers. 
No street closures will be required for that portion of the downtown street maintenance work.
