Ohio Valley Art League Announces Upcoming Exhibits


A new exhibit entitled Seasons of Life is set to open at Gallery 101 on July 26th and remain on display through September 17th.
Artists may still enter their pieces from now through July 23rd.
According to Director Sam Denson Seasons of Life entries must
clearly depict one of the four seasons: winter, spring, summer or fall. This exhibit is juried for awards
and the awards reception is scheduled for Thursday, July 28th

Opening August 2nd in the Dick & Sheila Beaven Gallery on the second floor of the Henderson County
Public Library is a solo exhibition showing paintings by Jessica Bernardin. The exhibit is called The Way
We Move and is a telling through colors, lines, and a mix of mediums of how we move through grief and
joy, internally and externally, holding on and being held. The exhibit will be on display August 2 –
October 13 with an artist reception & talk scheduled for Thursday, August 25th.

Denson adds OVAL is still accepting entries for the 14th Biennial Kentucky National Wildlife Art exhibition through July
31st. Over the years OVAL and the KNWA Awards Committee has presented over $13,000 in sponsorship awards.
