DIED SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9TH, AT THE HOMEPLACE OF HENDERSON. SHE SERVED IN VARIOUS POSITIONS AS AN EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT WITH CHAPEL HILL CHURCH, THE HENDERSON RIVERPORT AUTHORITY, AND JOHN CONN, PASTORAL COUNSELOR AND ALSO WORKED AS A REALTOR WITH LEGATE REAL ESTATE. JANE ELLEN WAS A MEMBER OF FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH AND WAS A MEMBER OF THE DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, CHUCK.

HAMLET “HAM” DUNCAN 99 OF HENDERSON
DIED WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12TH, AT DEACONESS HENDERSON HOSPITAL. HE WAS A WORLD WAR II VETERAN AND WAS A DRIVER FOR A&H TRUCKING COMPANY FOR 62 YEARS. HAM WAS A MEMBER OF CASH CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH AND WAS A FOUNDING MEMBER OF CALVARY MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH IN HENDERSON. HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS WIFE OF 72 YEARS, MARY ELIZABETH, AND ALL OF HIS BROTHERS AND SISTERS, GRACE COWAN, ILOFF DUNCAN, JIMMY DUNCAN, MARY LEE FARLEY, DENNIS DUNCAN, AND IDA DUNCAN.
