Henderson Joint Task Force and Kentucky State Police teamed up to arrest three people in two separate traffic stops last week.
Authorities made a traffic stop at the intersection of Connell Street and Burdette Street on February 7. The vehicle was driven by April Bonnell, 36, of Henderson.
Bonnell was arrested and lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center for possession of a first-degree controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Her passenger, Dylan Peters, 31, of Evansville, was arrested and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center on charges of possession of a first-degree controlled substance (fentanyl).
Henderson Joint Task Force and Kentucky State Police also attempted to make a traffic stop on a 2021 Chrysler 300 at the intersection of North Green Street and Richardson Avenue on Friday. Authorities said the vehicle failed to stop and fled. The car was located on Eighth Street abandoned.
Clinton Caldwell, 34, of Morgantown, was arrested and charged with possession of a first-degree controlled substance (methamphetamine), first-degree fleeing (motor vehicle) and second-degree fleeing (on foot).
Evansville Joint Task Force also assisted with the latter investigation.
