Paige O’Nan has been named the Director of Child Nutrition for Henderson
County Schools.
O’Nan is currently serving as the interim director of child nutrition and prior to
that was the principal of Niagara Elementary School.
O’Nan received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from
Western Kentucky University and a Master of Education from the University of
Southern Indiana. O’Nan holds certifications/endorsements for school
administration from Murray State University.
Her Henderson educational journey includes graduating from Henderson County High School
and being with the Henderson County school district for over 30 years.
As the director of child nutrition, O’Nan will Oversee the districtwide food service program, and
ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with district, state, and federal requirements regarding
nutrition, menu planning, food production, sanitation, safety, financial management, procurement,
and record-keeping.
On being named the Director of Child Nutrition, O’Nan noted, “I am excited to serve the students
of Henderson County in this new capacity. I look forward to providing appealing and nutritious
options for them. Healthy eating equals strong learning!”
