HUGH DAVID “POPPA” LITTREL 92 OF HENDERSON
DIED ON SUNDAY, MAY 7TH, AT HIS HOME. HE WORKED AS A ROUTE SUPERVISOR AT SITEX CORPORATION WHERE HE RETIRED AFTER 35 YEARS. HE THEN ENJOYED WORKING AS A VAN DRIVER AND “JACK OF ALL TRADES” FOR BUSY BEES EDUCARE AND WAS KNOWN AS “POPPA” TO EVERYONE. DAVID WAS A MEMBER OF BENNETT MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS WIFE, MARY LITTREL, BROTHERS, MORRIS LITTREL, JR. AND JAMES LITTREL, AND HIS DAUGHTER, JANICE “JAN” PRESSLEY.

THE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 11AM ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 10TH, AT BENTON-GLUNT & TAPP FUNERAL HOME.
REVEREND MARK CARTER WILL OFFICIATE
BURIAL WILL FOLLOW AT FAIRMONT CEMETERY
FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE INVITED TO POPPA’S LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 5PM UNTIL 8PM TUESDAY, MAY 9TH, AND AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY FROM 8AM UNTIL SERVICE TIME AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
