A Henderson man has been arrested in connection with trafficking methamphetamine.
Members of the Henderson County Joint Task Force located Trent Lacer, 65, at Thornton’s Convenience Store on North Green Street on Thursday.
Lacer was wanted on multiple felony bench arrest warrants for underlying charges of two counts of trafficking in a first-degree controlled substance. Police said one charge stemmed from a 2017 charge and another from 2022.
Authorities said they discovered methamphetamine when they searched Lacer. He is currently released on shock probation out of Henderson County for a previous trafficking conviction.
Lacer was arrested for the felony bench warrants, as well as additional charges of trafficking in methamphetamine, third-degree terroristic threatening, and driving under the influence.
Lacer was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
