HENDERSON, Ky. – The City of Henderson Board of Commissioners held their regularly scheduled
meeting on Tuesday afternoon, June 27, 2023.
Mayor Brad Staton presented Henderson Municipal Gas employee, Billy R. Stone, with a 25 year service
award.
The Board of Commissioners also:
-Approved a consent agenda with minutes from the May 23, 2023 regular meeting
-Heard a resolution for the MOU for security services with Henderson Community College
-Heard a municipal order awarding the bid for purchase of firefighter protective clothing
-Approved a municipal order awarding the bid for purchase of an auto load sanitation truck
-Approved a municipal order approving Pratt Properties II, LLC option to purchase the Old Corydon
Road property
-Heard a resolution approving the MOU for purchase of right of way and easements on Watson Lane
-Heard a resolution approving the MOU for purchase of temporary easement on KY 812
-Approved a municipal order awarding the bid for purchase of regular truck cab truck with installed
service bed for the City’s Public Works Department
-The City Manager’s report included:
– Presentation regarding updates on the meter station from Henderson Municipal Gas
The date for the next regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners is Tuesday, July 11th at 3 p.m. It will take place in the third-floor Assembly Room of the Henderson Municipal Center
