September 19, 2023 – Brian Newman has been named the vice president of commercial banking at German American Bank.
“I am excited to join the German American Bank team and return to my hometown to be a valuable resource for Henderson County business owners,” said Newman. “As a Commercial Banker, I am motivated to be a trusted partner for my clients, and look forward to building upon the values and impressive success of German American Bank by focusing on the unique needs of individuals and businesses in our community.”
Newman comes to German American within excess of 20 years of experience in business management and banking, specializing in agriculture and small business lending. He earned a Master of Science degree in agronomy and a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business and animal science from Western Kentucky University. He is also a graduate of Wake Forest University’s Banking School.
Newman lives on his family farm in Henderson County and enjoys being active in his local community.
